Planting the Seed: Using Apple TV's in the Classroom

The University of Richmond School of Law has installed Apple TV’s in the classrooms.  The initiative is a spin-off from our iPad program, where iPads are issued to all students who are enrolled in one of the Law Clinics.  Since then, we have installed Apple TV’s in all of the law school classrooms, and the University has also installed them in other spaces across campus as well.  I will share what we have learned, how instructors are using the devices, the advantages of being untethered and unorthodox with teaching technology, and how we’ve been able to get our PC laptops connected as well.  We will share the highs and the lows of the project to help you avoid some of the hurdles we have encountered.
