Director of Distance Education Programs and Project Management at Texas A&M School of Law
Dr. Chris Odionu joined Texas A&M University School as the Director of Distance Education Programs and adjunct Professor of Legal Project Management. He was previously the chief information officer at Alabama A&M University, associate vice president and chief information officer at the University of Detroit Mercy, and CIO at St. John's University, New York. Most recently, Chris was the system-wide director of the Center for Distributed Learning at the California State University Office of the Chancellor. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Project Management (AAPM), and a certified Project Management Professional, (PMP). He is active member of the ISACA organization, and certified in the governance of enterprise information technology (CGEIT) and in risk and information systems control (CRISC). He received his bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, MBA, and doctorate in educational technology and administration from the University of Houston. He served as an administrative fellow in a year-long academic program at Harvard University where he earned a certificate in higher education administration.
