Mapping Supreme Court Doctrine

This session will showcase the "Supreme Court Citation Networks" tool, the product of a collaboration between Free Law Project and the Supreme Court Mapping Project at the University of Baltimore.  This web-based and open-source tool allows users to create, annotate, and share maps of SCOTUS precedent. The session will demonstrate how to use the tool to (a) facilitate classroom teaching and learning about Supreme Court doctrine across a variety of courses; and (b) conduct advanced legal research.
